If you tan, what kind of lotion do you use?
I am trying to find the best bronzer tanning lotion. I don't want to use a tingle because I don't like the way it makes me feel and look afterwards. My problem is for some reason I get darker, but I get a reddish tint to my skin and not a bronze skin tone like I would like to have. I figured I will try one of those expensive bronzers and see if they work better than the ocean potion bronzer I got from wal-mart. I am thinking about getting either Australian Gold's "Almost Famous", Supre's "Smoke", Breeze's "Double The Bronzer", or Designer Skin's "Worship". Have any of you used any of these? What do you guys or girls think is the best bronzing lotion to use?

Get Maui Babe browning lotion THE Best product ive ever used it has kona coffee in it and natural hawaii nut oils look for it on the net you will be very pleased!!!

I've never heard of that stuff before, but I read about it and it looks like it would work really well. My only problem is that I get a reddish tan and not a bronze color tan so hopefully this will help me get more of a brown tan than reddish.

i've used the "worship" one that you mentioned...it was bought for me, and i had never tried a lotion with a bronzer before...
but i will say this, i haven't tried too many lotions, but i definitely got better results with this stuff...i was pretty happy with how tan i got, considering i usually just burn then fade to white.

Afro Sheen.....it will burn your ass if you're not careful....i get a better tan with that stuff than anything else i have ever tried
PS. Everybody in the south uses Afro Sheen to tan!!!!

Almost Famous, I seriously need to tan just 1 maybe twice every 2 weeks with that lotion, its just came out

hmm i am going to try tanning for the first time tomorrow...I have a naturally dark colour of skin, kinda olive. do I need sunscreen or should I be ok? prolly just go for 15 minutes

Hmmm if its your first time....I would not go too long...you need to let your skin get used to it. For me... if I get "bulb burn" it usually itches more than it is red.
When I start tanning after having not tanned for a while I usually start at 10 min and work my way up...but I'm very fair skinned. Ask the salon what they suggest for your skin type.1. Once a cheat always a cheat!

well its just at my gym that I am tanning.. but I am italian coloured so I figure 15 shoudl be ok eh?

It really depends on the bed and how new the bulbs are. 15 with your skin type is probably ok....if you get a lot of itching...you'll know it was too long.

I use Neutrogena Body Oil. I tan more evenly with it and I like to get very dark when I tan.

I think I might go ahead and try the Almost famous or maybe even the Maui Babe and hopefully I got a browner tan than that reddish tint I get.

Hey getpumped,
what part of La you from??? havent talked to lifters here that much they are too much into lifting for the weekends gettings messed up and metro and ampersands, loosing 5-10lbs and starting over makes me sick, o btw good choice on the almost famous it would give you that nice bronze look, I used it twice and already have great compliments from girls,hope this helps bra
