Problem with the hidden one for cherokees, is they can be hidden quite well, but youre going to need a new bumper. I bought my 01 grand cherokee w/o one, and I dont know what route to take.

some versions of hitch you have to cut the bumper for the receiver.. i dont know whether i want to do that or not. i am going to install it myself. its very easy but the cutting part i dunno

hidden hitch works fine. get a class III, the 2" reciever

do yoruself a favor, goto the dealership and ask them for a nutcert for the drivers side rear frame rail. its basically a flat piece of steal with nuts welded on them. you insert it in your frame and then your hitch bolts go right in. otherwise you will have to fish around with wire to get the nuts on the hitch bolts...believe me, its worth it.
