Irritable body (muscle) aches...
Anyone know what I am talking about? It is not the usual muscle soreness you get from working out, but a nagging, aching lower back and leg pain that just won't go away. It's like the only thing that makes it feel better is working out more. It normally creeps in late afternoon and makes me crabby as hell. Anyone?

Us old guys get the aches bad...... I've got em now..... The only thing that helps is training more. Also, hot epsom salt soaks eases it up a bit as well. Try doing a higher rep routine for a week or two as well to give the body a break.
It will always make you feel better to accidentally drop a plate on some young stooges head as well.........lol

Maybe you should try getting a massage or as Mondo said...soak in some epsom salts.

Yeah, epsom salts are probably a good idea. I tried some of my wife's foofy bath salts and didn't notice a thing. I am old though...early 30's. I refuse to think that it is old age, but maybe it is. I have been lifting for 15 years and have never had this feeling every freakin' day. It sucks. Massages are good, but at $60 an hour.....wtf?
