Those guys are Bigwave surfers. People on the mainland might find it unreal.......but its real as it can get my friend. Swells on the north shore in hawaii (pipeline, waimea, sunset, ehukai, log cabins) get up to 40ft in the winter. You gatta be a world class surfer and have your balls screwed on **** tight.

Can guarentee you its fake, its been posted here before.

Trust me im good when it comes to photo editing and that lightning photo is deffinately fake, the fact that the lightning is placed where it is should tell you its fake, the colour of the sun and surrounding clouds, the fact Stratus and Cumulus arent usually seen in the same combination when there is a storm/thunder & lightning too makes me think its fake. In addition to this the camera angle and time of day suggests that the original photo was of a sunset. I could go on forever, but suffice to say its fake.

If the wave picture is real, how did they get up on that huge wave? They are all just hanging out waiting for a wave and this 30 ft monster is right under them. At least that's how it looks to me.

LMAO. The wave isnt endless...........the surfers catch the wave and paddle back out in the channel. All they did was paddle over the wave before it broke. when its that big.......and far from shore........boats are out there. They also use jet-skis to rescue wiped-out surfers.Last edited by colossus1; 03-18-2005 at 07:20 AM.

A photographer just died on my island last week. Wasnt wearing a helmet..........he went over the falls and smashed into a reef. When waves are this big and thick..........its life and death situation.

BTW, he's playing as a water camera man. He's actually in the wave face, not on the wave face, in the wave face. He made his way through it and wasn't smashed to smitherines.

if he went over...........he'd better be able to hold his breath for at least 2 min.
