Well...the worst penalty you can get is life. But life here isn't life, its 25 years max. Then they can apply for parole after I believe 2/3 of their sentence at the most, I think it's earlier. But killers rarely get 25 years unless their are declared "dangerous offenders" which requires some pretty serious siht. If they are declared so, they can be held indefinitely. being born n raised in Iran till i was like 11, one thing i did like about their justice system is if someone kills ur family member then u have the right choose their faith(to live or to die). I've seen where in some smaller cities some of the victims familys carry out the executions. blood for blood
I disagree that any country with a religiously influenced justice system has their **** together. Tehy don't call it Islamic Law for nothing, it's barbaric and quite rediculous IMO.
