    u mean putting somebody in a prison for the rest of their life at the cost of millions of dollars of the taxpayers money isnt a good idea???

    I love it..great point. Sometimes when it's clear the person is guilty, the person should just be tortured and killed. I know it harsh...meh.

    yep, but we are the USA and anything besides life in prison or a quick execution isnt "right" ...

    Well...the worst penalty you can get is life. But life here isn't life, its 25 years max. Then they can apply for parole after I believe 2/3 of their sentence at the most, I think it's earlier. But killers rarely get 25 years unless their are declared "dangerous offenders" which requires some pretty serious siht. If they are declared so, they can be held indefinitely. Very very unlikely though, that's only the the absolute worst I would say.
    All in all, it's pretty weak.

    We send them to "Club Fed" for 15-20 years... (out after 1/3 time)

    Club Fed is a nice comfortable federal peninentatiary with all the amenaties and comforts our tax dollars can supply...

    being born n raised in Iran till i was like 11, one thing i did like about their justice system is if someone kills ur family member then u have the right choose their faith(to live or to die). I've seen where in some smaller cities some of the victims familys carry out the executions. blood for blood

    I disagree that any country with a religiously influenced justice system has their **** together. Tehy don't call it Islamic Law for nothing, it's barbaric and quite rediculous IMO.

    u know i don't agree with most things that the iraninan governemt does by any means, well if it wasn't for the wack ass government i still b living where i was born. But the thing is when u have that kind of justice system to deal with bad crimes, people would think twice b4 they commint rape n murder n etc. As harsh as i seems personaly, god forbid if someone did rape n kill one of my family members i wouldn't b able to move on till i c that person die for wat he did. But again thats just me
