    oh my EFFING GOD!

    i can't believe spielberg and cruise are gonna hack wells' classic to pieces. tom cruise is one of the wrost hams in hollywood today. how much you wanna bet he does that stupid shaking/vacant stare thing he does in every movie?

    Can't wait to see it... but Tom Cruise? Puuuleasze!

    I'm curious to see if the aliens will have the flying saucer with the long neck like in the 60's classic movie (which I have to admit was WAY cool!), or if they'll be the spheres with the long legs that HG Wells described in the novel. Notice they don't show the aliens in the teasers ahhh suspense!

    I know red, i was kinda disappointed they didn't show any alien vehicles... but the lightning thing is pretty sweet.. I'm definately seeing that movie.

    Yeah I know Cruise wouldn't had been my choice to star in a sci fi movie but I'm not going to see the movie because Cruise is in it I'm going to see it for the special effects and **** so I could care less who stars in it.

    I have high hopes for this movie and seems like I am the only one here that doesnt hate cruise. I like most of his movies.
