depending onthe type of mean I would say do it the same way you would fry a steak. Seal the meat first then add the pepsi. In time the pepsi should reduce down into fu*k knows what.

I never heard of this before but it worth a shot

I just rememberd this thing about coke i saved dont know if it is any good to you but here goes :-
    7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into
the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and
bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished,
remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with
the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.

It sounds a lot like a Coca-Cola roast. You sear a roast on all sides, place it in a Dutch Oven pan, into an over set at 350 for about an hour to two hours. The meat will fall apart with a fork when done. The acids in the coke helps breakdown the fat and some of the connective tissue. Diet coke works as well but I like regular, tastes sweeter.

Toss in some potatoes and carrots half way throught the cooking process.

Let's just say if you were to have a meal prepared by the world famous Juggernaut you'd name your kid after me. I'm a cooking mother ****er.

I forgot to add that before you place the raost in the oven you pour the coke over it and while cooking you need to check on it periodicaly and add water if it starts to get below 1/4 in fluids....don't want it to dry out. The veggies are done when a knife passes into them with no pressure.

You can add white vinegar to your marinate as well. It's a tenderizer

    Try this:

Take a couple of racks of baby back ribs or standard pork ribs and place them in a pan.
    Set oven to 350
Pour the Ginger Ale over the ribs until they are covered
Add a 1/4 cup of soy sause.
cook for and hour or so...cover with tin foil/

Take ribs out and set them on paper towels to dry.
Fire up the grill, toss on the meat coat with BBQ sauce and reheat the ribs until the BBQ sauce starts to carmelize.

You'll so thank me for this receipe when you try it.

I don't know for certain but I've heard the same thing.

Soaking game in buttermilk over night will remove that gamey taste venison and other meats have.

so, back to the original question...

no, don't cook it in the pepsi. you should just let it soak in the marinate before you cook it, then just cook it in a frying pan. do not boil it in diet pepsi...

Juggy, you got me on the baking. Can't bake for sh1t.

    Marinate in beer.

    Marinate in Orang/lemon/lime juice.

The acids tenderize the meat famously.

Maybe where you live. I live in a land where men are men and the drinks are made for a man's thirst. Drink, drink deep my pasty skined freind! If I were you I'd move.

Sorry, 12oz is the norm as Mr. I'msoperfect has so painfully pointed out! I don't think I like this guy! hahahahahaha
