Basil by far. Parsley is the common man's garnish. And rarely do you ever meet someone named Parsley. If the English can name their kids Basil after a leafy green, you know it's hot ****.

Basil, reminds me of faulty towers which was a cracking program, so thats how i placed my vote
Parsley is a pussy garnish that does nothing other than sit around and look good...it's the jessica simpson of herbs. Basil, on the other hand, looks grand but serves a utilitarian function as well. Think of basil as the Christina Aguilera of herbs. Since Christina > Jessica, Basil > Parsley.
basil reminds me too much of italy....let me tell u all a story.... last time i went to olive garden i got the tour of italy dish - lasagna, fetuccini alfredo and chicken parmesian - it basically all tasted the same. Only difference was a slight variance in texture...after this occurance i came to the meticulous conclusion that all italian food taste the same...therefore, parsley is indubitably > basil
Basil is a man's garnish
