    Help me make a chart in excel

    Its been years since ive used excel... i need to make a pie, bar, and line graph for business finances. How do i input the numbers to make the charts. thanks

    Input the data in the cells....

    Then, go to "Chart Wizard" and it will prompt you for the type of chart, then it will ask you to highlight the area, or "data range" of the data of which you want to utilize!

    ok got that down.... how do i label the sections. like in a pie chart

    When you're creating it, in "Chart Wizard"... progress to Step 3 of 4 (says that in the top of the window)... then click the tab reading "Data Labels" and check the "Series Name" box. Make sure at the head of the data, you have the names typed in when you select them.

    If you want to, shoot me a PM and I'll make the chart and upload it here or e-mail it to you.
