What combination of weights on the bar are giving you 330? If three plates on a standard bar are 315, what are you adding? two more 5's and two 2.5 lbs weights? Seems odd to me. Unless you are using 2-45's, 1-35, 1-10 on each side which seems odd to me also. I have lifted for over 15 years and never stack larger lifts like this. Does anyone else?

I honestly dont understand why people wanna bust other peoples balls for saying they BP 400+ lbs... Im sure there are people that are lying and people that are telling the truth, if you wanna lie, then lie. Who cares, it shouldnt make you mad becuase someone says they bench 400+ lbs and they dont. If the guy benches 330 by putting nuthing but 10's on there, why does it matter?

If he doesnt really bench 330, then who cares? hes a liar... and he has bigger things to worry about than just lying on an internet forum.

Bottom line is, until someone posts video footage, alot of you guys arent gonna believe in most of the 300+ lb bench presses on here.

bench:?? i have bad elbows so i use 125 dumbells 3 sets, for 6 reps
im assuming thats about 340 or so. I was able to yank up 285 when i was using 100's so i can prob do about 340.

Why does it matter? because I can't stand liars. The point of saying what combination of weight do you use is most people that lift don't put 330 on a bar. It's usually 315, 335, 385, 405. Typical numbers , I am pointing out the fact that people throw up BS numbers and lie but are to stupid to realize it. "Uhhh yeah I bench ummm 323 yeppp mmmm hmmm". BTW if he puts nothing but 10's on there hes ****ing retarded.......

I hate people (in public)who ask this question. Your big...."How much do you bench?" Who gives a shiat? What about "man your dedication must be rediculous" nonetheless this will always be the first thing most people ask you if you are of decent stature. So thank god (and TEST E)that he gave me the ability to bench over 450 lbs. But I know many people who look way better than me and can only bench 350. I'm 22, 6'0" at 210 (off cycle) unless you are a powerlifter, I think it is more important to look good than rather bench the weight room. JUST MY 2 centavos

Everyone said he was one of the strongest HS kid in the entire country last year.
    He's also 6'4 @ 290.
I call bs on anyone claimimg they can hoss up 400 lbs. that is not a mature adult.
Hell, the strongest players on OU's entire football team can't put up 450-500 & they have a serious weight program.
i agree with most of what you said but i've never done a cycle, and so far have stuck to simply protein and at 22 years old, 5'11'' 225lbs my best bench is 410lbs. theres a player on my 1AA team who is less than 200 pounds who benches more than that. for the most part mid 300's is great for h.s. but its not improbable for them to reach higher numbers if they train right.

    24, 5' 11", 175.

    215, 4-6 reps, 3 sets.

Not sure about my max 1x.

This is at the very beginning of my 1st cycle. Hopefully I'll be doing 265-275 for reps by the end.

174 lbs benching 330, no sorry I don't believe you, not even for one. 2nd I don't believe at 5'6" your going to add 21 lbs of muscle on at the end of your cycle. Unless its alot of water weight. Post your cycle info.
    GrantRC,
I don't know about the guy that you are going back and forth with, but the guy that wrestled 126lbs. with me in college was 5'4", 138lbs (off-season) and pushed up 345lbs on bench. 200lbs. over his weight!! That is the largest weight to strength ratio that I've ever witnessed!

I started my first cycle after 2 years of training (bench was 375 pounds naturally) and I expected to see a lot bigger strength inreases than I've had so far. My point being that if you bench around 200 and go on a cycle it is likely that ur bench wll go up alot more than it would when u have reached a higher level. So that someone benching 340 shouldnt assume gettin bench up 60 pounds in one cycle. It might happen ofcourse... who knows...

49 yo 5ft 11inch b/f about mid teens, weight 253 yesterday. not a bb type more of a power lifters build. best bench in contest was 460 { a bunch of years ago} i think i could bench a clean 405 now. but, want to stat injury free, at my age injuries stay around too long. but i do bench at least once a week, i dont do i rep maxs, and i even stay away from triples, i do three sets of 315 at 10, 8 and about 4 or 5 for the last set. i am a better puller then a pusher. my goal was a 500lb but never happened gl
