there is alot of gear out there. you should first think of how much money you wont to spend on it. then you can look for your gear. get your self a good bc and reg. the rest of the stuff in not ass importent

my first priority is the regulator, i can always borrow the bc from friends since they have spares. im deciding to get the scubapro regulator w matching octo. they are very highly rated. going to spend about $500 bucks.

that is a nice set up. that is what i spent on mine like 4 years ago. also if you are going over 30 feet make sure you get a good spare air tank.

excuse my ignorance still taking the pool sessions but the spare air tank is the small one that you can carry in your pouches? sort of a last resort thing?

also does it have any benefits if your reg is made from titanium aside from it costing much more and looking sweet? what is your reg setup now, just curious?

yes the spare air is the small tank. the poni tank is the little one that will mount next to your large tank. the on is used for when you go real deep.

titanium reg is the best. it will not wear out or corrod from salt water.

i have a nice titan SHERWOOD reg it was about $600. and i used my old on as my spare on my oct
