outer arm does not hurt much. it feels like someone scratching a sunburn.
inner arm, arm pit area and chest and stomach are a different story.

Got my initials down my tricep, funny thing is that when they did it, my arm was in a position that made my tricep straight, then when i drop my arm in the normal position, my tricep muscle move a little making it slightly crooked. better luck next time

thats my biggest fear. i am afraid it wont be straight and i am a perfectionist. it will bother me forever.

get both!
I think you should get one on a bodypart that is easy to clean and put cream on e.g. arms, legs, chest, abs etc. and don't get a big one the first time. you can always get a second one on any bodypart.

my friend got one on her lower hip (same as the pic) and she fainted because it hurt so much. she had to sit up straight for 3 hours. Mine on my left arm took 2.5hrs and it was like 2.5hrs of non-stop injections.

My entire back is covered with a 20 hour tribal piece. My triceps each have a dragon, which is tribal as well (yeah, both triceps have an identical tattoo).

As for piercings, I have a 6ga., in each ear, a 10ga. in my L. nipple, and 3 in my tongue (a 4ga, and 2x 10ga.'s) in a wide triangle formation.

I don't know...the 3 piercings in my tongue were pretty bad....I switched from my usual drinks to drinking SoCo and Lime for the next 2 weeks, to "disinfect" it....

The nipple wasn't a picnic either...

As for the tats, anything on the back or back of your arm is pretty uncomfortable.

I'm nervous about getting mine. I really don't like needles. But when I got my bellybutton done, it didn't really hurt at all. More like a little pinch. So, maybe I can withstand this?
