    resizing avatar

    everytime i try to resize it, it says my preveiw of the subcription is expired or something, do i have to buy the program or is there another way.. im horrible with comps. so this is prob a dumb questoin... is was on jasc.. thanks

    You can use microsoft paint (accessories) if you have Windows XP it's free.

    yeah i think it was a trial version...cool i'll try the microsoft paint thanks.

    To keep the proportions right when you resize, look at the attributes in Paint and then divide 150 (maximum avatar size) into the larger dimention.... it will give you a percentage. Stretch/Skew both the horizontal and vertical by that percentage and it will be 150 pixels on the large side and still be proportional.

    Just use MyImager.com

    It's an online photo editor. When you resize it asks if you want to keep the original aspect ration (yes you do). You size it by pixels which is very handy when doing avatars on board that limit you to 10x10 or whatever.

    At a bookstore the other day, I saw a book entitled "Sex for Dummies." Why would someone want to teach dumb people how to reproduce? Aren't there enough of them now?
