A merry-go-round rotates at the rate of 0.20 rev/s with an 80-kg man standing at a point 2.0m from the axis of rotation.
What is the new angular speed when the man walks to a point 1.0m from the center?

it's the same, since the man has only moved, the rotation hasn't changed, only the mans perception of it has.

that is true but I think im trying to find what he perseves as his angular speed.
