Yokohama Geolander M/T or ProComp X-Terrain?

both come in the 285/75/16 size and would be going on a tacoma.

If you drive on the street more than off road, then the Yoko's without question... good tire.

The Pro-Comp is a Far Better Quility Tire. If you want more mileage out of the tires go with the Pro-Comp Mud Terrain.

i have 35X12.50 X terrains and i love em. Ive had them for about 2 years and they havent worn to much. THe only thing is they are kinda loud on the rode, but nothin to bad, im sure those yokohamas would be just as loud

I think the Yokohamas look better. For quality, I would find out where these procomps are made. To what tire company are they subcontracted to? does any one know? I dont think procomp is a tire factory but just a label.
(BF Goodrich imo are the best)

i have pro-comp xterains on my truck, without a doubt some of the best tires ive had on my truck, its bout time for new tires but they lasted me a good 25k so i would go with the pro comps and their real quit on the road and can handle some poundage off road great all around tire

The reason I said the Yoko's for on the street, was that my boy has a set of the ProComp's on his 1/2 ton, and told me they were loud az fuk.

Pro-Comps are made in the USA by Cooper...The BFG KO's are a very poorly built tire at this time they are owned by the french and have some real problems, Vibration, Side wall splits and pre mature dry rot. I work in the Rubber industry and would buy the pro comps in a minute!

I have had BFG mud terrain tires before, they were great. Pro Comp seems to offer a very similar tire but for a cheaper price. I think I have completely ruled out the Yokohama's and will be going with the ProComps this time around.

I will just have to see how they work for me.
