nah I think this one will blow independence day away. ID4 was more of a comedy action sci-fi movie. This one seems alot more dark and depressing.

I think it will be just like the book. All human technology totaly useless against the aliens and us getting destroyed. But I hope it wont end with a bacteria killing the aliens like in the original war of the worlds that is boring.

science fiction needs to become popular again.

Not a alien vs us movie but the foundation triology by asimo my god if they made a series of movies of that triology it would blow everything away.

I'm somewhat confused........sometimes I think that there is but I have to see it to believe it......

I have an old uncle that was part of my family until my aunt kicked him to the curb for this reason...He started hanging out with these people that believed and were hardcore believers in aliens, they set up meeting in his house and used the garage as a base to meet up and set up trips to visit these places where aliens visited "supposebly"...Well after my uncle brought up some bright idea about breaking into area 51 to camp out or some camp where no one's allowed..I don't remember the name ...She said get the fawwwk out!!!..My aunt was tripping after he took one of my cuzzen's (his youngest 7 year old daughter) to see and camp with the rest of his crew..Anyways he said he'd seen a couple of them and that they moved really fast but you were able to see them if you drank this wax/rice/juice they drank at night...lol...........Didn't mean to hijack....

He basically lost his job and looks for them on a full time gig now...oh and he changed his license plate to HUG*UFO

There is life out there but is there life capable of space travel over huge distances? distances that keep getting greater as the universe expands.

When does that movie come out?

26 or 27th june if I remember right.

I think there almost must be a couple of civilasations that is advanced enough for traveling betwen stars. Or well if it is possible to do that then someone must have managed it. Maby it isnt possible....But even if faster then light travels isnt possible maby there are aliens that live for thousdands of years instead of 80-100 years like us. Or those that have mastered nanotechnology and genetic enginering and have made artificial bodies for themself with almost unlimited lifetime. I think the possibilities are endless and any obstacle will be managable aslong as the civilisation doesnt self destruct in wars or ends from some catastrophic event.

I hope this will be a good spielberg movie. He realy didnt impress with minority report and AI. not imo anyway. Maby this is his return to beeing the best.
