didn't even think of the 70' chevelle ss 454. that has to be the best muscle car ever built. seen only 1 at a car show and all the pics in the world don't do it justice. very rare and worth alot of $.

And if you take the lunatics off the road who don't have car insurance or valid driver licenses (which here in Texas makes up fully 40% of motorists), and then enforce the "2-second rule" they always talk about in driver safety classes, the number of wrecks would decline precipitously.
I know that such things will never happen, as people drive according to their passions and not intelligently (or even lawfully), so like most of the rest of y'all, wanting a car like this is primarily wishful thinking.
C'est la vie . . .

I would just get a brand new escalade with a ton of extra (DVD's in headreast/ system/ 24"'s etc..) Black with a chromed out grill (i drive the cheaper version of this ....2003 tahoe) . I need something spacious and luxzurious to fit my ass. I like to be comfy, couldnt ride in one of those small cars, but if I was gonna buy one of those I would get soem kind of mazaratti (sp) of a ferrari of some sort

And retail price for the GT is somewhere around $150,000, I think, whereas the retail for the Enzo is around $650,000.

Yeah, they are both extremely nice machines. I was surprised to see how well the GT performed also. I found the GT stats at Ford's site. fordgt.net. Can't remember for the Enzo, I just searched for it. Those stats could be off give or take a bit, but they sure are close to be so far apart in $$$.

The motor trend stats and stuff is a lot of times perfect conditions, so stats are better. The Shelby GT500 will kick ass when it gets here. I can't wait. I had thought about purchasing an '05 GT, but I am seriously considering waiting for the arrival of the new Shelby. Will be more $, but will end up the same as the older Shelby's that are now collector items and worth far more than what people originally paid for them.
