Better than nothing. When it gets warm, just put it back in the freezer.
Get a plastic bag and put ice cubes in it. Then put a thin towel over that and lay it on your bum while you lay on your belly.

I feel your pain bro. I had just about 90% recovery in my left shoulder and then I fvcked up the right one. What's worse is its fvcked up in a small stablizer under the shoulder blade. I need that thing at work because I'm a mechanic and have to reach around things still on the buses. Every thing is tight and requires me to push hard on my ratchet. This further truamtizes the muscle. It's like it gets worse every day. I'm taking a two week brake from lifting. Just cardio in the mornings. Then I'll get back into every thing slowly and start doing some rehab work for my shoulders again. I look at my chest and it looks sick, sad, and disgusting. No one would believe that I could ever bench 280, all natty, from just looking at me. I'm so depressed. All I can do is leg stuff and abs/core strength exercises.

maby we just whine more about it. A regular fat ass spending his time watching tv doesn care as much if he becomes sic or injured. For us on the other hand its a hard blow so we whine and notice it more strongly

Dude, I get sick about twice a year because of sinus problems. Then twice a year, it seems like I get a stomach bug. One of the guys at work asked me why I get sick so much if I work out, watch what I eat, and supplement with vitamins. I tell him, I get sick just as often as he does and not any more. Difference is, I know when to stay home and recover. He just keeps working spreading disease around at work. I hate these ****ers. We have paid sick leave. Stay the fvck home!

63190 this might sound stupid but take 10-15 grams of vitamin c(preferably in the form of sodium ascorbate, NOT as potatisium ascorbate or zink ascorbate. Magnesium ascorbate could work)daily. It has been shown to prevent/cure conditions like that. Im probably going to write a long thing about vit c that you can read later on but for now if you want to know more do a search for klenner+ascorbic acid or dr thomas levy or linus pauling.

I remember you talking about super dosing C a while back, Johan. I wanted to see how it went, but lost track of the thread.
I've got some Ester-C Calcium Ascorbate. Says 1g of C and 135mg as calcium ascorbate and 10mg of Rosa Canina from fruit.
I took some of these the last time I thought I had some thing coming on and and stayed with it for three weeks. Symptoms disappeard in two weeks, but I stayed on it until I ran out of my antibotic and it seemed to help.
I'm a little worried that 10-15g of an acid would kill my stomach lining. You talking about oral dosages or injectable?

calcium ascorbate is ph neutral so should be no problem for the stomach. Only pure ascorbic acid is harsh on the stomach.

No side effects so far and Im using 15-20g/day now. Only thing is that if I go above that I get diharrea but that is expected and a sign that I have reached my tollerance level.

exactly. you might notice some slight hypo signs since it increases insulin sensitivity quite a bit.
