    We fought for and got our independence from England (after 800 years of oppression) in 1922. Although you can't stand our accent you shouldn't be confused about our sovereignty!. We're Irish, we're independent from the UK except for 6 counties in Ulster which are still under British military occupation (for the time being).

    I grew up thinking I was german, untill my father(whom I didnt know very well growing up) told me that, he thought our name was Irish. I did some research and I am Irish... Very cool stuff. They are some of the proudest people, with alot of history. I'm 6-3, 225lbs, blone hair blue eyes. Just dosent sound Irish.
