norton ghost 9.0
Does anyone know how to make a backup copy of my whole C drive onto a disk that actually runs from the disk itself.
I have been trying to reinstall windows with my existing backup and ghost 9 wont let me. Tells me to use an emergency disk. I do and then I see no option to use my backup.
sorry for not contributing to the board lately, but I am still recovering from surgery.
thanks

what version of windows do you have?
you should have a recovery point on your computer that you can go back to if things are f'ed up.
Also with Windows you should have got some disks for running windows. I have a boot recovery disk that is on floppy that I can boot from when windows takes a shit. Find someone with a boot disk.abstrack@protonmail.com

I have windows xp. I dont have a problem, but I just want to reinstall with my backup.
when I use norton ghost 9, says I have to use a boot cd. I made one, but it doesnt work. So I think I have to add the ghost prog. in too.
Has anyone restored there windows with their ghost 9?
