Doing my first comp "& Now the long road to the next!"
I haven't really been on this board in quite some time, but just wanted to pop in. For those of you that remember me, just saying hello. I am doing my first comp in 10 days. Right now, I am 251 at 5.1% bodyfat. I feel like ****. By the way, I am 6'2". Well, I'll try to pop in here a little more often.

Three random thoughts by me, to be taken for what they're worth as you've attained a level of development that is still many years away for me, if I can even get there.
1. I'm surprised you didn't take the overall. I know one shot can't give a clear picture of the other guy's overall development, but in the comparison shot you look like you have him beat on most everything. Again, it's just that shot though and I have nothing else to go on.
2. I think you would have benefited greatly from "V'ing" your posing trunks up a bit. You know, give that baywatch cut to it. Going back to the comparison shot, look at his posing trunk line and yours....his has that v shape which, in turn, accentuates his own V-shape and exaggerates it, while your 'flat-lined' trunks make your waist look far blockier and wider than it really is. I'm not sure that I put it into easily comprehensible words, but I hope my general idea comes across.
3. Lastly, I'm very surprised at the fact that your back seems to have flattened out a bit as compared to the shot at the top of this thread. It's almost as if it doesn't quite 'match' your front. Did you notice the same thing at all? I've got VERY little experience in this contest prep thing, but in toying with ideas and diets, i've been SHOCKED and blown away at the difference just a few hours can make in the way certain bodyparts look or don't look.
Overall, however, you look insane, especially that most muscular. Very impressive and gives me something to strive for some day.

ttuprincess, jonnytour, & Danielle - thank you for the compliments. I weighed in at 246, by the next day I was 266, and by 3 weeks after, 280 lbs. I have since dropped most of that water and am about 265 now.

You certainly give alot of us something to aspire to. Keep up the good work. I hope to look somwhere even close to that, but I think that is way off. Any more contests coming up in the future?

Big Green - You are right on the money. I hated my trunks, I will know better next time. I came in a little flat in the morning for prejudging. The rear dbl bi picture and the most muscular are from the prejudging. I ate a couple lbs of roast beef and a dozen cornbread muffins during the day and came in tighter and harder for the finals. I think I was already beaten before the overall began. I think the decisions were made from what the judges saw in the prejudging.

I have decided to shoot for USA's next august. Since my las t competition, I have been weighing 265-270 most of the time. Due to some uncontrollables, I am now at 255, but the push is on for 290 by April of 2006. I think things will fall into place and I plan on competing at about 265-270 lbs.
