The set was $300 with the block(I got the 9 piece, not the 11 piece, because the other 3 pieces aren't useful....kitchen shears are for geeks).
I had alot of free time when I took my cooking class...not much to do...this is when I was playing rugby league in NZ...so..yeah...I just did that and learned how to cook...lifted weights, ran every morning, read about 2-3 books a week...
next time you're in the market for kitchen knives check out cutco, they rock! what do you cook or like to cook?
Chicken, Steak, etc...
Although I'm a vegetarian, I like cooking for other people. The last thing I learned to make was an Italian dish called "Lobster Fradiablo"
Hmmmm cooks, smart....buff....... I think I'm in LOVE!
I was lookin at that exact set.... Global knives are really nice, they were in that movie with Christian Bale where he went insane....FAK

I was a vegertarian for 15 years, raised my kids that way too. Lacto/ovo only. Now I enjoy eating everything in moderation. Lobster Fradiablo is absolutely one of my favorites. I'll wait for my invite.Quote:

Hooker as a veggitarian where do you get your protein except the obvious whey and diary products. Do you eat alot of soybeans? Combinations of lentils and other stuff?
