    Thumbs up

They Rock man. Power Rock at its finest. I agree, great workout music. A group named "The Calling" also have a great song out similar to "Creeds" Power Rock style.

There a bunch of big headed god freaks with huge ego's. After listining to an interview with scott staff i almost puked. They are the most hated band out there for a reason. You should hear what people such as david grohl have to say too funny. i must admit there music isnt that bad but the just suck.

Everytime you see him singing, he posing like Jesus f***ing Christ!! I wish someone would show him a video of himself (thats all you see in their ...ooops, HIS videos) so he can see how f***ing stupid he looks.

what has them being a christian band got to do with it? either the music is good or it blows - I am lucky that I dont watch MTV so couldnt say anything about the videos or the band members themselves - frankly dont care, I like the music, so what about the band.

Um, yea! EXACTLY what he said. I don't watch videos or interviews. Every time I do I end up getting irritated with the artists, so I usually just listen to music. Safer that way.

They haven't progressed as artists and I think that sucks. They have talent, but they've got that "don't fix it if its not broken" attitude. Pretty soon they'll be the next ACDC - meaning every song will sound the same.

    :/: :/:

Someone needs inform the lead singer that no matter how hard he tries, he's not Eddie Vedder.

At least in ACDCs case - what is wrong with that??????? I hate it when musicians "progress" to the point that they no longer sound like they did - there are a few who take it to a better place because they are musical or marketing geniuses (prince and madonna respectively - tho both are wacked in the head) - on the other hand you have U2 which has gone from being great when they started, with real emotions and a raw, lifelike sound to crap like "Pop" - so often once they get to the top, there is no real motive or drive to create the good stuff. Even some like dolly parton (did I just mentions her???? ) have gone back to her roots as it were, which sounds much more authentic than glossed up garbage - notice eric clapton, etc....

I agree with you on Eric Clapton. He seems to think that keyboards, drum machines, and R&B producers will make his music better. Play your damn strat, Eric!!!

I'm don't agree with the Pearl Jam argument. Sure, the lead singer can sound like Eddie Vedder, but whats wrong with being influenced? There are tons of bands from the past that sound like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Black Sabbath and it still happens with newer bands - I'd rather get used to it than complain about it.

hey all, this is my opinion and in no way am i flaming anyone. k, here it goes

Creed is by far, my favorite band. as far as the lisping goes, not true. i was just at a concert in St.Paul Minnesota Feb. 16th, and you can tell that Scott Stapp was singing. and the funny thing is, dave grohl makes fun of Creed because the fact is, his band blows ass and will never compare to Creed. Dave Grohl is only popular because of Nirvana. also, what band has had 8, yes, i said 8, #1 hits?? CREED.. and they have only released 3 albums. now that my friends, is pretty damn good... now, as far as lifting music goes, i don't think it gets any better than the song "Bullets'' off the new cd. for those who have heard it, you know what i am talking about. for those who haven't, download it. it's worth the time and effort. now on to the christian rock band status. if you read any interviews, Creed plainly states that they are NOT a christian rock band. they only sing about things they have gone through during their lives and also about their beliefs. they actually put meaning and heart into their work. they don't put out records that scream stupid ass shit that you can't fuckin understand. i can see where you can compare them with Pearl Jam, because Eddie Vedder and Scott Stapp sing with so much passion. you all will see in time, that Creed will be the Led Zep of this era.

now i hope this doesn't affend anyone. just my opinions on these issues. you all are entitled to your opinions too.. thanks

    Big J
