You need to accrue more posts before that option is available to you.
The exact number is either 25 or 50, but please don't do as a few others have a start worthless threads in order to increase post count! :)
Also, make sure you have the pm option ENABLED in your user control panel.
Many don't ever do that, and complain they cannot p.m. :lol:
