    password?

    can whoever is running a site get your password you use on the site?

    Not usually, no. However they can change it when they wish to and access your stuff in that manner. However, then your password is different.

    im just worried about the password itself? not on this site but another, i just realized i have used the same password twice.

    If the person who is running the site has full administrative permission (e.g. system admin), then yes, they can. However, in most web servers (not all of them), passwords get encrypted before they are saved in the users database so even if the admin has access, they can access only the encrypted password which is unreadable.
