im thinking about taking out a loan to pay for gas i love my truck though so selling it is out of the question

yes thats what i mean, im looking at getting a truck and really like the newer style ram with the 4.7L V8 (since gas is so much right now) but wanted to now from ppl that have it if that truck with that size engine is a gas guzzler???

I have the 4.7L in a durango...gas mileage is horrible, 14-15mpg

thats really bad news, i didnt think the 4.7 would be that bad on gas, i cant stand the idea of buying anything less than a V8...

my 4.7L Jeep gets about 21mpg highway. only like 16 in the city, i spend more of my time in traffic though, stupid college town.
