Smoking Cigs and Muscle Growth

I know how bad smoking cigarettes is, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not smoking inhibits muscle growth/mass gain? Anyone know?

I don't think it does much, but it affects your cardio massively (night and day difference). If you don't care about that, though, you're fine :)
