I have to go with Big Lou on this one. :D
I left guys like Cormier and Cutler off because they may still have a chance to win before they are done.
Ummm....you forgot arnold!
yea flex wheeler is the best bodybuilder not to win the mr o
I agree that Flex is good, but Lee is a Freak! Always amazis the fans, but for some reason never wins it. I think things are going to turn around for Lee in the future.
man thats tough but ill have to go with flex
Like the poll but the list is severely flawed latman49.Quote:

I think everyone knows that Mike Mentzer SHOULD have won the Mr. O in 1980, so much so that Joe Weider won't even allow videos or pix of the show to be released. Many people to this day have never seen anything from that show.
Arnold should not have won.
I also liked Bob Paris and Rich Gaspari, both just competed at the wrong time and place. Easily both could have won if not going against Lee Haney.
I have to say Shawn Ray is the best bodybuilder to never win Mr. O. Just my 2 sense.

Tell me your joking FI.
Canes IMO in 1980 Frank Zane should have won once again. But I like that you acknowledge what a great BB Haney was. IMO he is the best ever. I think he brought on the era freaks.
I forgot I voted for Flex. If it weren't for Ronnie "The Super Freak" Colman he would have won his share.
gotta go with levrone, there have been years when he was just unbeleivable....
I knew that I would catch hell from someone over Mentzer! I only had 10 spots and I honestly considered him, but I chose to go with Platz over Mentzer because I like Platz more. I'm sure this won't be the last snub that I have to appologize for.:wg:Quote:

I voted for Lee Preist but it was a tough call - Levrone has been awsome on occaisions too - Lets face it ALL the guys listed have been awsome!
Everyone is a winner in my book cause they put so much hard work in themselves for us muscle lovers to enjoy! But if I had to pick one guy it would have to be Shawn Ray! He's been in the sport since the early 80's.Give him what he deserves!
my vote goes to flex
Aaron baker, but the top few are so good, hard to give just one
Lee Priest !!!! We all know he will never win...
I give it to the greats-Lou and Serge. They were among the pioneers and deserve at least one medal. They looked awesome before BB became an exact science.
It has to be Flex. When Ronnie won his first O, Flex beat him on everything but size. Flex was the winner but he didn't have the well-liked personality. Joe Weider wouldn't have Flex as his Mr. O.
I'm glad to see someone give Serge some credit. I voted for Lou but Serge (IMO) is a close 2nd. It is a good thing I wasn't a Mr. O judge in the 70's, cause Arnold would have only won 2 titles. Serge definitly looked better than Arnold at two different O's, and Lou at one. Nothing against Arnold, he's a god,but the O is more about politics than anything. Why do you think Ronnie 4-peated, Cutler should have won the last one(sorry bigkev, don't hate me for saying that :D )Quote:

i forgot about Aaron bro! what a back! he was incredible, but just never got a fair shake after the entire wbf debicle.
I voted for lee preist. He is an inspiration to all of us short people
Sorry-I believe the god of shorties is Franco Columbu. That's why he won Mr. O so many times.-He had all the muscle of a giant packed onto a 5'4" frame, plus still holds several world records in powerlifting! I think he was 210lbs in '78. If you take a good look at Franco between '76 and his comeback in '83, you'll also see that he pioneered the superbeast(Coleman, Yates, Priest, etc.) ten years ahead of his time!
Flex-genetics are about as good as it gets. If he could put it all together at the right time, he IS Mr. Olympia.
LOU to save time (NO1):hello:
casey viator had amazing genetics did anyone see the colorado experiment? I think olympia is to hard to tell who is the best, there all freaky and there muscle is so developed that it drops jaws and raises eyebrows, could you amagine being a judge? And it all goes to who is with weider and the judges opinion....
bertil fox
Damn, mando, who is that in your avatar? That is one huge dude!

Are you sure? The size is about right, but the face doesn't look right. I guess it's just one of those pics where he doesn't look like himself.Quote:

I have the tape of the 80 O. Its still available.....Also Total Rebuild highlights the 80 O and Arnold's win, though it does edit the boos LOL
Definately Mike Mentzer - But I like Flex and Ferrigno as well - but hey, at least Lou got his own TV show, which made him a heck of a lot more than the O ever would have :D
How about Vic Richards ?

Cool, bro. The smaller pics was just hard to make out the face. He's a beast!!!Quote:

mine vote is for lavrone and wheeler.... more for lavrone though , he has the better attitude
Yeah, but the Masters O is like winning the Senior U.S. Open in golf, it doesn't ease the pain of coming close and never winning the real thing. I guess Phil Mickelson is going to pattern his career after Vince.:DQuote:
