Anybody ever had Varicocele (testicular prob)?
Has anybody ever had Varicocele? It's where you get veins, or varicose veins behind a testical. It can be hazardouse to your health in the long run or hurt, so most have surgery to remove it.

After I went to have my blood checked after a cycle of a couple Andros, my endocrynologist checked my nuts too, he told me to goto a urologst to have the veins checked and removed. So, i'll be going in within a few days. I have procrastinated long enough since I hate recovery (cant live without lifting).

Guys, it is veins most commonly in the back of a nut causeing one to be slightly bigger or drop more. You will feel the vein or veins. It can cause impitancy, lower testosterone levels , and can cause cancer. Personally, my test levels are fine, but if I have it removed they could be boosted which is always a plus. Also, I want to have kids when i'm older, and don't especially want cancer. It's somthing like 13-17% of males get it, and have it removed. Insurance pays for it since it is hazardous.

You should have brought your soldier to attention. That would have caught her off guard. I hope you have a good recovery, C.K.

and next time, i'll just mention it when we talk at the beginning of the physical, my usual doc always asks what's going on w/ me, any probs etc...before he starts the exam...that way he can check what he wants in the order he wants...

I too have a varicocele and have seen 2 urologists for it. They both said the only reason to get it fixed would be pain or infertility. I have minimal pain but my one nut has atrophied a bit from it. There is another option. Its called embolization. Its not as invasive and recovery is about 2 days with a 2 week no heavy lifting restriction. They thread a cath into a vein in your leg find the varicocele thrugh fluro, and "zap it" so no blood uses that route anymore. If u are concerned about time off from the gym, ask your physician about embolization.
