my flat feet got me dq'ed from the airforce
well i went to meps the other day and did my whole phys for the airforce and got threw everyhting.and then when i saw the ortho he told me that i need to get a waiver for my flat feet.have any of you herd of this before.
man this sucks,i cant get in until i get the results withc will take a couple weeks.damnit

Yea I think it's quite gay actually. Having flat feet gets your rejected from the millitary. I knew a few people that had it and couldn't pass processing. Something to do with having an affect on the way you run. It sucks because the condition is hereditary.

Yes bro, I would not sweat it. My brother had flat feet he had to do the same for the Army. I am prior Aif Force and you can PM me with any questions ya have. Have you got your AFSC yet? Make sure you get the job that you want before signing any papers bro.

Yea, I have flat feet too. I doesn't really effect the way I run, it only hurts like hell walking long distances. So, I see how it could get you rejected from the military

like tock said before if i remember correctly, military is paper paper paper. waiver waiver waiver. so, just get a waiver. you should be good to go, just like you said, have to wait a little time.

i had the same problem at meps, but they just asked me to conduct the test and asked me if their was any pain, i said no and that was it, but you can't claim disability when you get out because it will already be in your record.
