Everyone a bodybuilder but me?
I was just wondering if everyone on here is an aspiring body builder, a pro/ameteur bodybuilder or are there other people like me who started, just to get bigger and stronger?
Just some quick background, I am a retired (medically) Army sgt. who got blown up over seas. I did physical therapy for several years, and never gained back leg strength. I finally got sick of it and tried AAS for the first time, and I have never been happier. It hurts alot to do these leg exercises, but for the first time in years my leg strength has improved. I hit 310 pound squats today, so i am thrilled. Just wondering if there is anyone else out there who is just doing it for themselves?

Theres plenty man. I'd say a lot are bodybuilders, or aspiring like you said, but there is also a good number that come here for fitness advice, maybe for a competitive sport, or as a hobby.

yeah, I got into this stuff for martial arts, but the more time I spend here to more I find my self getting into body building. AR is just a great resource for diet and exercise information in genral.

with nearly 50,000 registered members and just over 2000 online currently...i'd say the majority here aren't competitive bodybuilders. sure, there are some here that do compete, have competed or will compete...but i believe the majority are here just trying to better themselves (or for many, trying to find a shortcut)

I am not a BB'er..not very useful. Practical muscle/strength are my goals. BB'ing just to stroke yourself off is lame IMO.

I use my size to scare the shit out of senior citizens and little kids. So far so good, it makes me feel good, and it's some extra cash flow every week from the kids lunch money and all, and the old ladies purses. But the old people are tricky, you gotta catch em' when they just get their social security checks which can sometimes be ill timing. But it allows me to buy more and more steroids and makes me feel good.

wow congrats man on your progress. Yea I'm not an aspiring body builder either, but my ultimate goal is to one day be featured in an ad for a sport supplement, or just be a fitness model ONCE thats all I need...just one shoot and I'd be completely satisfied. Also I just believe being in shape is essential for life, lengthens your life, improves your ability in almost every aspect of life (sex, sports, confidence, etc).

on topic, i would like to be in the kind of shape to be able to compete, to have that size and the ability to have that much control over my physique, but i dont actually have the desire to get up there...right now anyway.
