One of the great comedians Richard Pryor has passed...

...This is one comedian, actor who has done it all...Thanx for the countless laughs making us laugh at the blk/wht differences, the attitudes of animals, all the things that happened when you was a kid, and setting the bar so high noone can come close... R. I. P. Richard Pryor

Heard about it last night. (btw the last name is spelled Pryor, out of respect for him, can a mod change the spelling?)

Still bumping for spelling (the man was a legend, the least we can do is spell his name right ) I figured he would have pages of responses, guess he is out of sight out of mind? or maybe I'm just getting old (32)?

God rest the brothers soul. I loved his schtick about the dog who would see a black man running from it and then just say **** it and give up. Priceless!
He had MS or some thing like that, didn't he? Poor old guy is finally out of his missouri.

I don't think he lived in missouri He did have ms and was in bad shape ( barely able to talk and wheel chair bound) He will be missed.
p.s. please any mod, change the spelling of his name to Pryor.
Heaven welcomes him

RIP
When I was about 12, I remember listening to his album and just rolling laughing.
A really funny man.
I remember Eddie Murphy telling a story about how Bill Cosby was complaining to Eddie about his use of fowl language. Eddie asked Richard what he should do about it, and Richard replied
"Tell Bill to have a coke and a smile and shut the Fcuk up!"
Priceless.
