Being a MOD
How do you become a MOD. Do you have to be with the site since it started or do you have to know the person that started the site???

Well respected, fairly knowledgable, trustworthy and an all round great, helpful person.

Oh yeah I know that, no doubt I still have a shit load to learn. But I was always wondering how do you become one. I saw a guy on here that almost had like 20,000 post and what only a member. Just wondering

Asked the same question before and got pretty much the same response (no answer and change of subject) guess it's like asking someone how much money they earn a year
No disrespect to the mods, but is it a secret or what? I have a feeling the owner contacts them for the position. Wish they would just say " it's a personal thing and we mean no disrespect, but it is not openly addressed."

I posted an actual procedural guide a while ago.
I believe if one does a search for this, it can be found but I ain't going digging.

Post count aint anything to do with what knowledge you have. Some people spend a lot of time whoring about in the lounge(+u know who i r) and rack up loads of posts. I personaly have nearly 1500 post but still feel i have loads to learn. But at the same time i now feel comfertable and confident giving advice on certain things to newbie members.
When i forst came her i though i had my workout and diet sorted until i visited the forums and started posting.

you nust have good hygeine and a pleasent odor like me! all kidding aside, if you answer lts of questions and know what you are talking about, you are on the rt road. knowledge and the willingness to share it with others makes a good mod IMO.

no contracts from the owner, no secrets, you put in your time, talk to the mods and become friendly with them while showing them you have knowledge of certain subjects and there you go.it isn't a status position, title is given to those who help out others and are often on the board.if you have a mediocore at best knowlege of the topics that are most frequently talked about, you won't become a mod. no matterhow many posts you have or how friendly you have been.

You are required to wear a one piece bathing suit (like the one shown) and have some impression on the other mods.
