Anyone on the Board from Australia. I'm in Melbourne and just can't believe what's going on in Sydney. I know things have been tense there for some years and it's far from a simple issue, but things are way out of hand at present. How do you guys feel about it?

I'm in Melbourne also and fear the same might happen here in the future. I was really suprised when i heard about the Sydney problem, VERY suprised. I hope they calm down over there, alot of damage has been done already.

To have that sort of thing happen anywhere is bad enough, just never thought I'd see it in Australia. Syndey's local media also played a role in whipping the masses to a fever pitch. As to it happening in Melbourne, there are some different cultural dynamics here which makes me doubt it, although having said that I wouldn't have imagined it in Sydney.
