Maybe you cleared your cookies. If you can post now, you're not banned.

Yes, good question. I was trying to edit post but you too fast.
TNT hardly ever makes a post in 5 words or less.

Yup cookies will do that everytime. There are some progs that delete cookies and other contents at certain times, this could be it. Everytime I clear my cookies, I have to resign in.

    Cool A few suggestions . . .

I'm sorry, but this post will be more than five words, but not enormously long...

I regularly clean out my cookies, and that will cause any AS forum that uses Vbulletin software to "unrecognize" you.

    Two suggestions that will help:

    1. If you are on multiple boards, use a different password for each and every board. We're bunch of normal folks around here (whatever normal means), but we have no guarantee that every board is not run by someone who may be whacked out. If your password is known to them, if they see you on another board, and if you have used the same password on the other board, someone with a warped sense of humor could hack messges in your name. Get around this by using a different password for each board.

Now, because you'll forget the different passwords you use for each board:

    2. Somewhere else on your computer, make a list of all your board passwords - do it in, say, a Word or Notepad document, and create a shortcut on your bottom toolbar so you don't have to minimize your web browser to retrieve your passwords. Make sure you include your user name in case you have different ones for other boards.
It's so simple, even a dumb weight jock can do it!

I never usually quote all of TNT's posts, but this one should be read twice by everyone. Take this advice guys. I have noticed with all of the boards out there that a few of the people that run them are rather odd and shady. Knowing how vbulletin (the software most of the message boards are using) works, those who run the old versions (which we do not) can get a hold of your password rather easily if they wanted to and know how to. The current version that we run encrypts all of the passwords so even if I wanted to (which I do not) I couldn't break into your account. Just be careful. I use a password on AR that is so far off from my other passwords that I feel no one could ever find out. If someone broke into my account it could be really bad news because they could mess up the board. And I won't let that happen to AR because I used the same password on another board.
