I ain't got a tree at home... not even a single light...

We'll put up fresh cut tree at my country house (it's in a maple and spruce forest) on the 24th as we spend the holidays there.

The fresh cut ones we get there are not usually as nice and full as the store bought farmed Xmas Trees, but going out in the woods in showshoes as a family and cutting it down and setting it up is priceless.

I thought it was quite unique myself. It's actually the top of a very large tree.So in essence you spared the life of a tree, and you're able to have something festive in your home.I like it,and the concept behind it.Enjoy your Christmas.

***And I found your comment to be rather touching as well***

Finally someone who understands the true meaning of christmas, if only father could share this spirit instead of the back of his hand with the other children and I.......God bless Pinn, and you have a merry christmas as well.

    You find humor in poverty?

You find it funny that someone lives in an abusive household?

I find it pathetic that someone finds humor in others misfortune.
