1993 ford thunderbird?
what do you guys think of this car. im thinking of buying it. its a 1993 ford thunderbird. for $1450. trust me, i would be getting a ford firebird if i had the money, or a dodge charger. but anyway, is this what you would call a sports car? im thinking it goes pretty fast. what do you think its top speed would be. its a 6 cylinder.

If I were you, and I wanted a car for about 1500 bucks.... I wouldn't buy an american car. A car in that price range is gonna have high miles, and american cars with high miles aren't as reliable as hondas, toyotas or nissans w/ high miles.

WTF is a Ford Firebird? LOL!
No, that car is not fast. It has the naturally aspirated 3.8L.. and makes less than 200hp.... and weighs around 4000lbs... not fast any way you slice it.
I have a '91 T-bird SC with the supercharged 3.8L with forged internals... and it's slow... only a 15second car stock... yours is like a 17sec. car...
They're a decent vehicle overall... not a bad price.

The car sucks bro. And in the pic it looks like a thunderbird!!! Go to www.Autotrader.com and go through the search and you can find a car in your price range. Good luck man!

Yeah, I would go with a sports car also. For 1500 you can get a Nissan 240 SX and they run pretty smooth. When I drove from SoCal to NC a few months ago, I drove my 240 and it had over 250k miles on that mofo. It was a trooper the whole way and it still runs strong. Plus its a FR so you can drift the mofo

They are not fast, but are more of a luxury cruiser. Not a bad car, my grandpa owned one and loved it. Lasted untill 240kms, and was reliable up until that point.
The eight cylinder is quick though, and the older turbo fours, and supercharged v6s could be made to go like hell too. It shares alot of parts with the Ford Crown Victoria.
