Who here is in the military?
I was just a little curious as to how many bodybuilders here serve in the military. I just signed my contract this monday and it got me thinking.
I enlisted in the Army. Active duty for the next 4 years. Curious as to what will happen with my dieting and weightlifting habits. I'm sure people have had different experiences depending on their M.O.S. and what branch they serve in. So to anyone here that serves, what's your bb life like?

I'd say that it depends a great deal on your MOS, but during basic you will not see a gym (unless you are one of these remedial PT lard asses they let in) If you are in a non combat MOS and work and live on a base then your life won't be much different that it probably is now, you can train after work, access to supplements. I think the biggest problem is frequncy of meals. I worked in Iraq as a contractor 2003-2004, and we evetually got some weights, but 6 meals a day is a little tough in primative conditions, unless you really like detour bars, stallone pudding, tuna right out of the can, and protein powder mixed with warm water...
Congratulations on your enlistment and thank you for your service.
