    need some help with digicam software

    i have a kodak dc260 digital camera. can anyone tell me what type of software i need to down load pics from my camera to my computer?

    and possibly, a site where i can download the software.

    my comp has windows 98. which one do i down load? i am a lost on this subject.

    Sire,

    I do not know whether this helps. But after you have scanned your pics and do not want to delete them away, you could store them in an email account or zip them up and file them away in a storage file. It helps save a lot of space.

    ok guys, i downloaded winzip, i have the right serial port on my pc, but i cant figure out how to get the pics from the camera to the comp! any help would be appriciated!

    When you got the cam you should have got a lead which goes between the cam and the PC. These are sometimes USB (Little flat plugs) or Serial plugs.

    You need to get the cam plugged into the PC with that lead, and then, depending on the software you should be able to:

    A)
    Open My Computer and see the cam in there. Opening it will allow you to see the pics and drag them onto you PC

    2)
    Use the software you just downloaded. Somewhere it should tell you to Transfer, Download, Aquire or copy your pictures to the PC.

    I have the DC3400 cam and I can do either of those.
