This guy was sick in the head, but i do think alot of people could relate to his need to escape......i just would have went about things a little differently.Quote:

I'm kind of a nature lover myself and I'm not a "happy camper" in suburban Long Island so I can definately relate to his need to escape from culture and the social world. I did question his authenticity. He seemed to be anthropormizing or projecting human qualities onto the animals rather than appreciating them for their distinct qualities. Nevertheless, being so close to them took balls. Some suggest a death wish (suicide by bear). He got away with it for 12 years though.
