    Question Have You Seen "Intervention"?

    Anyone? It's a show about people with SERIOUS drug problems, eating disorders, gambling addictions, and so on... it's a kick ass show and I'm religious to watching it Sunday nights. For those that haven't seen it, its' a documentary about addicts that agree to be on TV to show how bad their habits are... What they don't know, is that they're about to get an intervention by a councilor, friends and family!!! SOO GOOD!!! Disturbing, but SOO GOOD!!!

    I love that show, been watching it since last season. I'm fascinated by documentaries about drug addicts and rehab, not really sure why. Great show, though.

    ive seen it ...watched the whole first season but a lot of the problems get to be repetative...it is a great show and depicts the real life addictions people go through...it is fascinating how powerfull addiction can be

    Horrible show... It may be interesting to watch but why would someones family want to put their loved ones problems out so the world can watch? They may have a problem but have the balls to have a peronal convention by yourself rather than a public one...Give the man/woman some respect.

    the man/woman CHOOSE to be documented... it is their embarrassment if any, with the families consent.

    My guess is that they have some incentive for being televised...maybe the treatment center pays a part of the cost of rehab if the individual agrees to get help

    Yeah but going by Justin's first post the addict doesn't know that they're going to be encouraged to get help when they sign up, they prolly just offer cash - everyone likes cash, especially addicts!
    Def a good point, the addicts dont know they are going to be confronted, which is decieving..

    What station is it on? Or what channel etc?
    I think its on A&E on cable...the channel will vary depending on your location

    Me too, was it the one with the kid who was happy as a clam living under a bridge being a drunk, and the guy who was addicted to pain killers? I was astonished at how head strong the drunk kid was, he was truly content with his life as it was. It was actually quite fascinating.

    it's on A&E I believe... sundays at 10pm eastern standard time... kick ass show... slightly decieving, but very helpful.. the addicts would most likely die if they weren't cohersed into the intervention. They are not ones to judge either, the majority of their lives are based on lies and deception to get what is most important at the time... their fix.
