its sorda like a poll. what kind of car do you have, what year, and what is the fastest youve ever went in it. i have a 2001 bmw, and ive went 130mph on a highway out in the country.

Just sold my 1976 lincoln continental mark 4, went 125mph just about everyday goin down route 283 in PA to go to work. My moms boyfriend of 10 years has a 1989 Mustang LX. Totally tricked out, whole new crate motor and blah blah blah. He had to pick me up once in VA Beach, LET ME DRIVE BACK!! drove 140 the whole way back to Philly. And he told me to!!!

I traded in my 00' Mustang GT v-8 for a honda cuz i needed better mileage and more effecient car but when I had the GT i got it up to 154 before the engine started makin some funny noises. I was a kid then whaddya want.

Its funny the way you americans will never have heard of cars such as the Ford Mondeo, Fiesta or Focus. Those cars just wouldn't satisfy your markets, hell they don't satisfy me, they are crap. I only have the Fiesta because its pretty quick at accelerating at low speeds and its cheap.

The Commodore is quick, nice V8 touring car races. Am I right in saying it is based on the Vauxhall Carlton bodyshape, or perhaps the Omega allthough I think that is car the later Commodores are based on. Maybe you know it as the Opel Carlton or Opel Omega.

When I was 18 I had a 1982 Mustang GT, which would do 70mph in 2nd, then quickly bury the speedometer in 3rd at 80mph, not sure what I ever topped that thing out at.

yeah most of the commodores are based off of some type of opel (im not sure which one) but we made the car wider and a bit longer. this year they are releasing a full australian designed and built commodore, we still use the american v8's though they are good engine, easy to get power out of, i have rebuilt a few as i work for holden (GMH).

Nice one bro. The 1.3 is a turd bucket with no guts though . At 115mph you must have been red lining at 6000 RPM. I've never taken my fiesta past 90, I need this car for 3 more years and it doesn't sound too good going past 90

yeah they are a very nice car, they have the same engine and driveline setup as the SS commodore, and the HSV GTO monaro has the same engine/driveline setup as a HSV Clubsport.
they really came a long way with the LS2 6.0L engine that thing is unbelievably powerfull.

Funny, I typed in Menaro and a few links came up on the net and I thought that was its spelling. Obviously those people were spelling it incorrectly. Monaro it is.

My daily beater is a Kia and I have been up to about 90ish in it.. It actually is a good car for having almost 200k miles.

Now my Baby is a 1923 T-bucket with a 396ci w/400turbo trans. I pegged this bad boy out at over 100++ but I thought I was going to die as these things weigh next to nothing and are hard to hang onto..

Lots of fun and no doubt a great car to pick up chicks.
