How long should it take for a new mom to get back to normal

Well I was just sitting here wondering how long it should take my wife to get back to wearing her thongs without having me run for cover again. We had a baby a while ago and just wondering how long it will (should) take.

Depends how much you, as a couple, want it.

    12-24 weeks i'd say

Depends on how much weight she gained, what she is like as far as discipline, age, and believe it or not - what her mother looks like. (Not as a hottie - but as far as overall shape for frame, hips, bust and stomach)

Well she gained alot, 80lbs give or take a few. From 120 to 200. its only been 3 months so I guess she's doing alright. She is down to about 144lb. She has desire to start back at the gym, but at the time, its either she goes or I go. I get home from work about 5pm and by the time I make it to the gym and home and eat its time for bed. She has lost alot dont get me wrong, just was curious to how long the process should take.
Thanks Narc, she still has 8 more weeks or its clen time!

My wife gained 65# with our first and lost it all plus 10# within about 26 weeks. So 24 is definitely reasonable. As far as the gym, I made sure to get at least two times a week in for me and two times a week in for her. (Not like I went for both of us - you know what I mean) Any more than that depended upon who was up for it and what time frame it would take.
Sounds like she is on track msu - no worries.

And congrats on the little one Brother!

Its amazing to see some moms that pick up their kids at the gym, its hard to believe they spit out a child, so dont worry im sure she'll thin out sooner or lter
