What kind of test is it? I am assuming it's not skinfold or hydrostatic weighing. I hope it's not electrical impedence. What kind is it and I can tell you if you are getting ripped off or not.

yea its an electrical .......some shit like that he said it sends shockwave through my body then spits it out on paper.
in that case wouldnt that be tha same a that shitty scale that tells weight and bf that i bought from sports athority.
what is the name of the test im lookin for? is there a proffesional that can do that for me if so what are they called im located in connecticut.

Sounds like electrical impedence, which in my opinion is shit. Charging $75 for that is like charging $25 for a skinfold caliber test. In fact the skinfold might be more accurate. It has a +- 4% accuracy. Electrical can change by just drinking a glass of water. You can do skinfold or hydrostatic weighing. You can check a local university or hospital for hydrostatic. You may have luck there. Skinfold can be done at just about any gym.

no problem man. The one that I did had a printout that told the %bf, how much that part of you weighed, and how much nonbodyfat weight you had. You can do it all by calculator. And again, not accurate. glad I could help.
If you're gonna have a bioelectical impedance reading done and want the most accurate reading do the following.
1. 3 hour food fast
2. Mid day test noon to 1:00
3. Drink a boatload of water so you're fully hydrated
4. Piss before the test
You'll get a pretty good reading, as long as the equipment is not a home model. We have two different types one Tanita commercial and one from Bioanalogics which requires a bit more computer input.
