Like i thought then.
If you are going to see a counsellor it should be eye 2 eye makes it easier to understand for the both of you.
What problems do you have?

Iron: you can always do a web search (www.search.com and www.metacrawler.com are my favorites) ... I found a number of "online therapists", but all of them charge for their time ... (considering how much they paid for their education, I don't blame them) ... some do offer a free initial consultation, but you'll probably need more than one chat
if you're a University Student, your campus should have free counseling resources available ... if it's an issue you feel you can discuss with a pastor/priest/etc, they are also trained in such matters
there are also 800#s for free phone counseling on issues like depression, drug addiction, sexual identity, etc ...
the problem with an "open" chat room is that you never know the qualifications of the people with whom you're talking, and they may give you bad advice, either accidently or maliciously
feel free to PM me and I'll see if I can direct you futher ... I've definately had my share of issues AND therapists

There a lot of good medical "counselors" at web md, usually a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner will oversee and answer questions on various medical topics.

Hey Iron, have you tried to call your local mental hosiptals, most of the time they offer free counseling. I don't know of any "online free" counselors, unless maybe religious in nature.. you may want to try and do a search for religious counseling, but most are well you know, trying to make you join their religion. Good luck my friend.

well, some of the online resources I found do include email "support" ... perhaps you can find an email counselor that will accept your company's insurance policy ... it may take a bit of legwork, but the right fit could be out there ... good luck!
