How do you become a trainer at a gym??

I heard you have to take a test. Also do they get paid good ? Anyone haev any info on becoming a trainer.

get a certification... there are several ACE, ISSA, etc and so forth... then simply apply at a gym... you will make money from your clients only, not the gym usually... anywhere from $20 an $60 an hour is what i have seen.

Depends on where you work as to what you get paid. I know at places like 24 hour you get only what you make from your clients. A good person to ask would be Jason (ptbyjason) - he's one...

I do know that you have to take a test, not sure what the cost of it is though - at least a 100, if not 200. It's just a certification test.
