We always called them pigs in a blanket in N.Texas. Now in S. Texas they are called kolachi's (SP?)

Sausage and cheese in a biskit called a kolachi. No idea where this name comes from. Is it Cajun, Mexican, anyone know??

My girlfriend is from greenville. I know what you mean Mag, I've been living in this shit hole for 2 yrs now, I'll be leaving as soon as I graduate. I lived in Charleston for a year or so which was pretty tight, beach, ass, historic shit. As much as I hate S.Carolina if I go to work at BMW or Lockhead, I'll stay. Greenville ain't that bad anyways.

A corn dog comes from Hot Dog on a Stick at the mall with some lemonade.

We used to have "pigs in a blanket" for school lunches and it was a hot dog in a crescent roll. If you go to Denny's on the kids' menu they have "pigs in a blanket" as a sausage link wrapped in a pancake. So you both must be right.

Well I'm in Arkansas, and "crescent roll wrapped around a hotdog with cheese" is what we'd call "Pig in a Blanket" too. Unless you go to IHOP...

Next question -- is "y'all" singular or plural? 'Round here, it's strictly plural.

Probably Polish or Czech. For some reason there seem to be a lot of Poles in South Texas.

I remember all the travelling bands used to rave about the Czech Stop in West, TX. Well, I finally went there once, and thought that everything tasted like it came from a donut shop, nothing particularly ethnic about it.

I go to USC and thank god for football season. SEC is the best hands down. Every week I get to see a great game and get drunk.

I don't hate SC as much as I used to. Comming from Vegas this was a culture shock like no other but you learn to deal with it. I don't like all the racisicm which is prevelant throughout these parts. Stick with your beliefs and leave me out of it.

As for the pigs in a blanket: If Denny's and IHOP say it's a sausage in a pancake then that's what it is. End of story.

ok bro i don't believe you got so may responses on this.

yes, i know what a corn dog is, and yes my fiance was arguing this with me too. she was originally from greenville too then we moved to maggie valley, and gastonia. now she wont budge on this whole corn dog thing. so to stop arguing, and go along with her response i told her that a "pig in the blanket" is in fact a code for when it's time to get our freaky deaky on when later on in the night if the little ones are around.
(i'm spineless, and have to let her win)
