going to vegas !!

okay! check it! out this winter me and the ole ball n chain are going to vegas any sugestions on where i can stay cheap but nice and what casinos to defitnetly hit? and which ones to avoid any good clubs? or what ? where can i have a good time remember my ol lady going to so no strip joints

All the hotels are pretty cheap, the ones downtown or off the strip are your best bets. You'll need to get a car for sure unless you just want to stay on the strip and in that case you can take a cab. I recommend a car so you can go to hoover dam and see lake mead.

All the hotels are great but the best are:
Paris: lots of shopping
Ceasers palace: Forum shops (food, entertainment, shopping)
Venitian: Gondola ride (romantic) lots of stores

Every hotel has a theme so check them out and go to see the pirate show and volcano at the Treasure Island and Mirage. Those are free.

Many shows but book early so you can get a seat. Mystere, O, Siegfried and Roy are some of the more popular.

Go to www.expedia.com and they'll show you a list of the hotels on the strip. I recommend the Bellagio. I, myself, stayed at the Monte Carlo and it's very nice too. Like Diesel said, go see O - it's awesome. I saw O and another one - I forget the name.

If your looking for just a place to sleep while your there, you can't beat motel 6 on Tropicana Ave. It's right next to the MGM and it only cost $50/night on the weekend.

Hell, you can also turn on the Travel Channel, they always have "weeks" of shows dedicated to Sin City.

You have to for sure take your lady to wither (or both) the Vodoo Lunge on top of the Rio or the resturat on top of the Stratosphere (don't know the name of the resturant). Call in advance and ask for a window by the seat, also request that there be a nice bottle of wine/champange on the table when you get there.

At the Vodoo Lounge after dinner, you can take the lady upstairs to the bar...it is the most killer view bro. The Palms also has a resturant on top of there hotwl, however, The Palms is the new hot sopt. SO it will be loud and chics will be everywhere. So I dont; know if you want the distractions.

As far as rooms go, Vegas Kid suggested a few good ones. Keep in mind thought that the Belagio is expensive as heel....doin't know if you want to shell out the bucks for a week there.....pretty bascially any hotel on the stip will do you good...except for the Barbary. Luxor is cheap and nice, Tropicana is a nice hotel reasonably prices, Monte Carlo, and Treasure Island are all cool places.

Keep in mind when you make reservations at these hotels that are on the strip, request that your room over look the srtrip....it cost a little more but well worth it...
