I totally agree Edmonton has better teams. I'm originally from there, I moved to Banff 6 years ago.

Oh I didn't even notice your location says Canmore. I love that area. I used to ski at Nakiska every spring break.

I'm in Calgary, used to live in Edmonton. You couldn't pay me to move back to Edmonton! What a hole!irate:

Well, if you like to live in a city with a very high per capita violent crime rate, then Edmonton would be your best bet. If you look at stats, then Edmonton isn't even on the same field as Calgary. Edmonton has higher poverty, higher taxes, ect., lower employment rate, lower employment growth, ect. Edmonton was, at one time, the economic powerhouse of Alberta. This, of course, was when Edmonton became the Capital. Now adays though, the two cities have really turned around. However, Edmonton has some nice areas to live in, and not many people care about stats when choosing a city to live in.

Acutally I'm 2 hrs north of Calgary....right in between Edmonton and Calgary in Central Alberta......both cities kick ass

I agree that both kick ass. I used to love the nightlife in Calgary before Electric Avenue went lame.

I used to live in Lacombe, it's about 2 hrs north. Now that's a beautiful town.

about 45 min west of Red Deer.....Lacombe's not a bad town, looks like its growing alot right now, though I do remember that the water tasted like sulfur for some reason
